Lighting Design
Similar to video technologies, mobile churches are turning to mainstream lighting design concepts to produce a more compelling and inviting atmosphere. Simple illumination of the stage with a few colored par cans and ellipsoidal spots may be all you need, but lighting can offer so much more.
Lighting design can be called art in one since (lighting can create mood and evoke emotion) and science in another (light can be quantified by all manner of calculations for intensity; power of lamp, efficiency, field angle). Church on Wheels carries the tools (science and art) to help you achieve your goals. Weather you're trying to provide light for video recording, or recreate a specific environment; we carry many types of fixtures and accessories to make it happen.
We love innovation! We are always looking out for the best products that enhance the mobility in mobile churches. While we still carry and often use traditional analog/incandescent products, we see the future in low power/high lumen LED fixtures. This product category is growing an innovating faster everyday. LED lighting fixtures consume less energy, cast off measurably less heat and have the ability to change color in a blink of an eye (almost any color). No need to cut gels, mix and match to create a color you want. With digital lighting consoles it can be as easy as dialing in an RGB setting for your favorite color in Photoshop.
We know how busy it can get when launching a new church. That's why Church on Wheels also offers entry level lighting kits for both analog and digital. These kits include color washes (PAR or LED Wash), T-bar for pole mounting, dimmer pack and or a dmx controller. We also carry a wide variety of truss to create lighting towers or full lighting arches over the stage.
